How to Prevent Smudgy Lipstick Job
How to Prevent Smudgy Lipstick Job
From a young age girls start experimenting with makeup, the result of which is usually a smudgy lipstick job. The problem is that these blunders continue right through the years and become darn annoying. Here are some helpful hints to answer all your lipstick worries.

Lipstick on the teeth
You have all seen it, the girl who looks dazzling with a pretty outfit and seemingly flawless makeup, and then she smiles and there it is for the world to see, lipstick on her teeth. This often occurs when you put too much lipstick onto your lips, which then ends up smudging onto your teeth. The way to deal with this is to take a tissue, roll it up, and place it between your lips and gently remove it. This will get rid of the excess lipstick.
Bleeding lipstick
Lipstick has a tendency of bleeding into the lines that surround your lips. This is partly due to too much lipstick at the edges of your lips and also because there is nothing to keep the lipstick in place. To avoid this you should use lip liner. This will keep your lipstick at bay and prevent it from bleeding, and it has the added advantage of making your lipstick last longer. If you are going to do this then make sure the liner matches the lipstick.
The disappearing act
Lipstick starts to come off from the moment you put it on. While you are talking, eating, drinking, and laughing it will slowly be fading. There are a number of things you can do to ensure that it lasts longer. One way is to use a powder, which helps it to set and not smudge off so easily. The other option is to buy long-lasting lipstick, but always make sure you buy a reputable one.

Eyeshadow Tutorial
Eyeshadow Tutorial Using Antique Jade and Night Sky Maybelline Expert Wear Eyeshadow Singles
The name of this tutorial is a bit of a mouthful, but the look is fairly simple. It is a look that can be dramatic or more toned down, depending on your lip color and what you do foundation and blush wise.

The things that you will need for this look are: a good eyeshadow brush (doesn’t have to be expensive), an eyeliner brush, Antique Jade (or another high-pearl green eyeshadow or other color of your choice), Night Sky (or another matte black or extremely dark grey), eye primer (L.A. Colors Liquid Concealer, albeit not a proper eye primer, works really well with these eyeshadows), and mascara of your choice.
First, take your green eyeshadow and eyeshadow brush and apply the eyeshadow on your lid and up into the crease. You can go past a little bit, but keep it far from the brow bone. Apply about three layers, or however many it takes to make the eyeshadow start to pop.
Next, take one little swipe of your black, put it in the crease and blend WELL. Instead of showing up black, it should look like a dark green. If you added too much, use a little bit of green on top and see if that helps. Add a little bit more green to your lid also.
When you’re done, take your eyeliner brush and the black eyeshadow and apply it from the outer corner of your waterline inward until you’re about 3/4ths of the way to where your tear duct is. Stop. Wipe your brush clean and then pick up a little bit of the green. From the inner corner on your waterline, take the green and brush it into the black. You should have 1/4th green and the rest black. Then take a little bit more green and put it right under the black and bring it up back into the green. And then, voila!
Nude lips don’t look right with this. Try using a pink that goes well with your skin color, or blending a bright red with a lighter pink for a more dramatic look.

Hard Candy Kal-Eye-Descope Baked Eyeshadow Duo Secret Rendezvous Review
Hard Candy Kal-Eye-Descope Baked Eyeshadow Duo Secret Rendezvous Review
This is a product sold almost exclusively at selective Wal-marts by a company named Hard Candy. It used to be sold at Sephora and from what I have heard the formula has changed.
Hard Candy

The packaging is pretty. It comes in a white round case bigger that is about one and a half inches in diameter. The bottom part of the case is round. The top half is clear and you are easily to see the product from all angles. There is a circle of silver that contains the name and an intricate design on the sides.
The colors in this duo are a light, sparkly, almost white pink and a medium, brown that is kind of a bronze color and is also quite sparkly.
I like the colors of this product. They are perfect for fair skinned women looking for something neutral or for darker skinned ladies looking for a bit of highlight and sparkle.
However, there are a few downsides. For one, I am scared to use a regular eyeshadow applicator with this product. I’ve noticed that even using a brush causes a lot of excess to get on the sides of the product. The packaging is cute, but I think it would benefit from being deeper or a different shape. Also, this product creases in hot and humid weather. It is fine when it is cooler, but during the summer, it’s most likely not a good idea, save for the fact that it is a neutral color and the color loss is not as noticeable. I am not sure of the results with an eyeshadow primer, but it may be quite a bit better than without.
